With the holidays just around the corner, Canadians all over the country are getting ready to entertain during the festive season. With hosting, however, comes the pressure of finding unique, delicious and easy recipes that will leave your guests looking forward to your next gathering!
Just in time for the holiday season, Parmalat Canada has launched Black Diamond Cheese Spread, a new spreadable cheese that is unique to the market. All the delicious taste of Black Diamond Cheese is now available in a spreadable format, encouraging Canadians to “Spread it, Spoon it, Dip It”.This allows you to enjoy the product on its own or to use it to enhance everyday recipes.
Gerry and I love this cheese spread! I`m sorry Cheez Whiz but the new Black Diamond rules. I personally am slightly lactose intolerant and have a hard time with digesting Cheez Whiz but did not have any issues with the Black Diamond cheese spread. Although, if you are sensitive, please use your own judgement with your own health.
The cheese spread has such a rich flavor that can open up a list of new cooking possibilities that can be used for your holiday entertaining. Gerry and I however used all our samples up on toast, crackers and bagels though- which really were yummy.

I have not tried the cheese spreads, however; I have a Husband who would be in his glory if I WON this prize. He believes that cheese goes perfectly with 'everything' and I've seen some pretty mean combinations go into his mouth. This would be an awesome gift that I could give to him under the tree. I would be able to tell him I didn't spend a penny as we are financially challenged this year and have agreed not to buy each other presents for Christmas this year.
