We're Here! Fort Stevenson State Park!

A perfect place to come to relax and get away from city life, just relax with the family, come to fish, hike,and more- Fort Stevenson State Park, North Dakota.

We arrived here from Minot, about 45 minutes south, earlier this afternoon and had the chance to drive around the park and check out some spots in the park such as the Guardhouse, cabins, marina, a cute prairie dog town, and Lake Sakakawea ( a giant reservoir created in the 50's).

                                          

                            

Just relaxing this evening in a nice quiet spot in the middle loop in a pull out spot. We do love it. Full hook ups and Jakey even saw a red squirrel and bunny already so he was quite excited!

We'll still be here tomorrow but during the day will be heading about an hour further south and seeing some historic sites in the area, then back to our site, where we'll spend another relaxing evening I'm sure.
