Had a call today while I was off getting my CT scan at the hospital. Won a $500 gift card from the local Co-op store... which was very nice. Was a local Facebook giveaway. Will help with gas and groceries. Paid it forward with a food bank donation and also for daughter something as she helped me play all week .
Two weeks ago won another giveaway for submitting my cash register receipt from Van Houtte coffee in one of their giveaways. Ironically, my daughter and I both won the same giveaway, winning a $500 gift card to our choice of one of a few stores, which I chose Walmart.
Nice to win ! Haven't been entering too many giveaways but I find local are easier to win or regional ones or ones that you need to submit a receipt for or do a bit of work such as a short essay, etc.. It must be a wonderful feeling to be a lottery winner LOL
