Never seems like there is a dull moment here in the city, especially Saturdays- or most days for that matter- always can find something happening, and always someone raising money or trying to make money.
Today we stopped at a car dealership's carnival of sorts, but soon found out it was mostly geared towards kids and young families, but we did grab some of Tully's mini donuts ... 14 for $6.. and so tasty!
Also went to a huge indoor fund raising sale to support Police Service Facility Dogs, and got to meet the dogs as well. It was pay what you wish so that was pretty good, and did find a few treasures. We also had given a few boxes of things for donations.
Found an "in excellent shape" queen bed frame with headboard and footboard- through Facebook Marketplace- and only paid $20! Will be for our daughter's mattress for when she comes to visit. Always has kept her mattress on the floor but then the bed feels cold she says. Since furniture is a big expense, it's great when one can get a great deal on it.
