Introducing the relaunch of Playmobil's infamous toddler line, set to hit Canadian retailer shelves in May 2024!
The former Playmobil 1.2.3 line has been reintroduced under the name Playmobil Junior. This theme continues to serve as an introductory line tailored for children aged 1.5 to 4 years, with each playset specifically crafted to support a child's educational development.
With this much anticipated relaunch, Playmobil has officially become the first major toy manufacturer globally to employ sustainable materials across its entire toddler portfolio.
Playmobil Junior playsets are manufactured from at least 90% sustainable materials that can be traced back to materials left over from food or paper production (according to the mass balance approach used in the circular economy and based on the ISCC 208 standard). For packaging, they use at least 90% recycled cardboard and 100% recycled paper.
The first items set to launch in May will include four playsets inspired by popular Disney Princess characters. The entire product range is planned to be converted by summer, including the licensed sets from Disney. Additional products will be released within the line throughout 2024.
