Today's Random Thoughts

Had the squirrel feeder up and was giving the squirrels a seed/ nut mix . They would eat the seeds and nuts and leave behind alot of the dried fruit. But that created another problem of the wasps starting to hang out - guess they must like the sweet fruits. Put an end to that with the water hose so will see if that keeps them away! 

Gerry had to make a 4 hour drive last week to pick up our couch set. Yes, 4 hours! That's what happens when you live up north in an isolated community. Shipping would have costed $600. The one day there and back trip costed him a third of that in gas for the truck. 

Also got a free king size mattress protector for our bed for the purchase, and we needed one. Ours was yellowing.

Take a look at this Manager's Meat Special. I wasn't wearing my glasses and didn't even notice the two stickers on the package. Was Gerry that pointed it out saying wow- 4 cent sale! LOL

Took mom out today as she wanted to capture some of the changing of the leaves in the area.
