John's Butterfly House- Medicine Hat, Alberta

John's Butterfly House has opened for the season! It's our first visit to this butterfly house. Located in Medicine Hat, Alberta. It is located inside the HUGE garden centre with no cost to shop . We picked up some tomato plants and a green pepper plant . The butterfly house however is $10 per adult admission. Seniors are a bit less for 65 and over but Gerry isnt quite there yet- LOL .

This year the butterfly house received 800 butterfly chrysalis.

The space has hundreds of butterflies fluttering before your eyes.

Relax on the deck and read about the life cycle and habits of the beautiful insects, stroll on the walkway and observe the red-eared turtles sunning themselves on the bank of the pond, and listen to the sounds of waterfalls and birds singing in the background!
