Another day, another fun foodie holiday giving us a reason to enjoy some of our favorite sweets! From National Blueberry Muffin Day in July to National Cookie Day in December, the fun never ends—and because I love Otis Spunkmeyer’s variety of sweet and delicious snacks, they’re always my go-to when I want to whip together a fun and easy treat to celebrate!
This Tuesday is National Cupcake Lovers Day, and as someone who loves cupcakes, naturally I’m planning to celebrate with my favorite mini cupcakes from Otis Spunkmeyer! Their Mini Chocolate Cupcakes and Mini Golden Cupcakes are both filled with vanilla sweet crème and topped with sprinkles, and they’re made with “no funky stuff” (aka no artificial flavors or colors, no high fructose corn syrup, and no partially hydrogenated oils). I like to think of that as a two-for-one: delicious cupcakes that are also a better-for-you snack option. Sounds like a sweet deal to me!
If, like me, you’re celebrating your love for cupcakes this Tuesday, here are a couple cupcake-centric recipe hacks I’d highly recommend!
Blend Otis Spunkmeyer Mini Chocolate Cupcakes with ice cream, milk and peanut butter in a blender until smooth. Serve in a large glass and top with whipped cream and sprinkles! (Recipe by Serious Eats)
Place Otis Spunkmeyer Mini Golden Cupcakes upside down on top of mini ice cream cones, and dunk into melted white chocolate until neatly coated. Top with natural rainbow sprinkles and red cinnamon imperials, and you’re done! (Recipe by Brite and Bubbly)
You can find Otis Spunkmeyer cupcakes—plus their cookies, loaf cakes, muffins and more—in the snack aisle at grocery stores nationwide.
