Hyrum State Park, Utah

Thursday, April 4, 2019

Our last state park visit today, as we leave Utah tomorrow. The Hyrum State Park
Located in the town of Hyrum, Utah and just 20 miles south of the Utah/Idaho border.

It's a smaller campground, clean and well kept. Grassy, with numerous large trees in the campground and around the Hyrum Reservoir. Spacious paved campsites.

We had plenty of places to walk Jakey as well- around the campground, down to the beach and down to where people fish. People were fishing off the bank as well as a few out kayaking.

Plenty of waterfowl fly around the reservoir, so you'll hear them quite alot. Minimal road noise. Nice scenery on the far side of the campground nearest the reservoir. Good Verizon 4G signal and cell service.
Utah state parks have been most welcoming!
