Today's Quick Tip


Am happy to say we were able to reduce the cost on our yearly home owner's insurance by $300, just by calling and asking how we could reduce our yearly fee but still have decent coverage.
I "tried' this with my cable bill as well,making a cut back on some channels, but what I removed I later added back on when we wanted to watch a few of our favorite tv series.
We did however get a free PVR and were able to sell our old receiver for $20. The cable company wanted $75 for the PVR but when I took my daughter's advice to tell them I would be switching providers if I had to pay a fee, after being a long time customer with a good pay record, they put me through to another dept., which waved the $75 fee.
It pays to speak up!
