Yellowstone National Park is on most nature lovers “to do list”- I know that it is on mine.
I'd love to go this summer so we'll have to wait and see what happens.
There is more to this first national park in the world then the well known Old Faithful Geyser.
“Yellowstone Treasures the Traveler’s Companion to the National Park” by Janet Chapple, will teach you all you need to know when exploring this magnificent landmark. The book is filled with recommended short hikes and walking tours of the geyser basins. With so much beautiful flora and fauna abound in the park; you can use this traveler’s companion as your field guide to birds, animals, trees and flowers. If after a day of hiking you want to rest your head use the guide to find the nearest lodging or campgrounds.
The guide is filled with fantastic travel tips, weather information as well as incredible historical content that make it both very practical but also a fascinating read around the campfire.
