A few years ago, we upgraded our propane furnace to one that was more efficient. We did notice a difference in the bills. But this past year the propane has really gone up. Gerry said in the last year, .30 a liter more we are paying. Using 400-500 + liters per month, that does add up. Apparently I am told it has gone down again to .25 just recently.
We are thinking we may have to look at an alternative heating source next Fall/ Winter. One that we can supplement in with the furnace. Thinking of looking at pellet stove to have in our addition.
Something we definitely will be looking at, as the cost of everything continues to rise on us.
