Santa Rosa Mountains- Pines to Palms Hwy, Ca.

A few days ago when we were traveling to Palm Springs, our GPS somehow took us the wrong way, and we ended up where we weren't suppose to be and heading further away from where we needed to be! But we luckily did get back on track again, but not after first going up the Santa Ana Mountain on the Pines to Palms Hwy. And let me tell you, it was a loooooong way down once we started climbing up that mountain, with switchbacks, and not much for guardrails . Nice scenery, but over 4,000 feet up. And no, we didn't have the RV up there.
