Happy Early Thanksgiving Canada!

Happy "Early" Thanksgiving to fellow Canadians!  There are a few I have learned today that are celebrating Thanksgiving today, instead of tomorrow- so Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Gerry and I home today- just another day. Kids are away and live elsewhere, so not making a big turkey dinner but do have a roast on for him. Me? I'm anti-red meat.

My dad has also been in the hospital for 4 days with a bladder infection and pneumonia. He had been not thinking too much of himself, pushing himself working all hours, and it finally got the best of him- mom having to call the ambulance to the house. He should be okay but will be just a matter of time for all the medications to work their way through.

We're having a very Fall looking day today. It's windy, cold, trees yellowed and orange, and off and on with snowflakes today.

Leaving in a few days west to see one daughter and her boyfriend, then south for the winter. Hoping to stay away from any snow and trying to see some new spots till we hit some warmer weather. I will miss family here,cheaper internet, my bath tub, unlimited water and all those things we take for granted in our homes, but don't always have easy access to when traveling. What we won't miss is the cold we're already seeing today. Even Jakey is staying in the house where it's nice and warm !
