7 Frugal Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas

Sunday, February 7, 2010

With Valentine day is just a week away you must have started thinking about the unique ways to make this day very special. And, to help you in enjoying this special day with your loved ones and in making it more romantic in an inexpensive way, we’ve brought together a list of seven frugal and creative valentine’s gifts ideas for you.

Write a poem – No expensive gift can express your feelings in a way a poem can do. Sit down and write a poem on this day for your loved ones telling them what you feel about them and why they are so special for you. Don’t be nervous if you haven’t written a poem earlier. You don’t need to write like experts. Anything simple and rhyming will be perfect.

Create a short video – Okay. So you can’t write a poem. Not a problem at all. You can create a short video telling your loved ones about what was your thinking when you met for the first time, how much nervous you was on the first date, what you like the most in him/her and about all the special moments you spent together or planning to spend in future. Okay and don’t forget to sing a song in video. ;)

Cook together- There is no such rule that you have to go out for the dinner on Valentine’s Day and spend money on it. Instead of that cook those heart shaped cakes, heart shaped cookies together. Cooking at home won’t only help you to save some money but will also give you more quality time to spend together.

Go for camping – Take a break from the city traffic, pollution and noise. Leave your mobile phones and laptops at home and go to some quite place for camping. Forget all your daily life tensions and enjoy the beauty of nature with your loved ones.

Two person clothing – If you are trying to make your evening more romantic and spicy then two person t-shirts, hand huggers or underwear could be a great option for you. Feel each other more closely in tight proximity and limited movement. These products are not expensive and are available to buy online.

Massage your Partner – Get some scented oils and lotions from the market and then give a great massage to each other. If you don’t want to give massage of your own then you can also hire a massage therapist. Almost all therapists provide couple massage services which provide massage to both persons at the same time in the same room.

Watching favorite movies – Rent your all time favorite movies and enjoy watching them with your partner. Also, don’t forget to accompany your experience with wines, popcorns and candies.
