October Is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

It is truly unfortunate that the majority of us have been touched by breast cancer in one way or another. Everyone seems to have a friend or an aunt or a grandmother that has fought breast cancer. Some of us have experienced the disease first hand. It is a sad reality that must be brought to light.

So, this month show your support any way you can. There are products on the shelves that the proceeds go towards breast cancer research and care, consider buying some of these products to help out. Or, if money is a bit tight consider walking in a breast cancer awareness walk or simply lending a shoulder or ear to someone that is battling the disease.

Do not forget about yourself this month either. Be sure to schedule your next mammogram and keep going back to ensure your own good health.
