Day 3-Vancouver

Wednesday, June 26, 2013

Well, we didn't do too much today. I have a cold and was taking medication that was suppose to be non drowsy but really made me tired- and it's been like that for the whole day!
We will be leaving though tomorrow, to fly back into Saskatoon for the evening, before leaving for home on the 28th.

Today we only went to eat a few times and went from the airport area, where we are staying, into the far end of Vancouver for a one hour harbour cruise with Harbour Cruises. We really enjoyed and highly would recommend. The boat is covered  so you can view from the deck or inside the boat. As well they do a play by play commentary so we learnt alot about the harbour.

                                                         Boat we were on.

Canada Place and Holland America cruise ship docked.

                                                              Me-  on deck

We did want to see a few other things, including the zoo, but just too far out of the way from where we were staying. Also was disappointed to go to Canada Place to check out the Imax and find it to be closed.
Will be packing up tomorrow and saying good bye to Vancouver.
We both must say that although we enjoyed the top attractions in the area, we won't miss the busy city. City life is not for us.

  1. I hope you have a good trip home. I lived in North Vancouver and Chilliwack for about 10 years and yes, the traffic can get to you, especially on the way to the airport, let's face it, it is a nightmare and something I always dreaded.
