In just a few days we'll be getting away to where we can escape the snow for a while. And we have so much here and ice, that it's going to be a while before it leaves. Seen on t.v Canada's east coast is worst off than us though, but still, snow is snow, cold is cold and time to leave. I seriously hate winter!

Gerry and I have have been  considering buying an rv and will be looking at one in Saskatoon, on our way to Arizona, this weekend. The rv lifestyle seems interesting, and it would allow us to go away for longer periods of time and have Jakey along, but it's the cost of gas for the thing that bothers me still. Being thrifty it's hard not to let it be in the back of my mind. Gerry and I did do some comparisons though on travelling with an rv and taking the same trip without. It does seem very comparable.If anyone does rv, I'd love to hear from you. Pros and cons welcome.

He's thought about selling his snowmobile as well. He doesn't use it alot, and in the last while the bumps have been hard on his back and knees, so we'll see what he decides. He's talking about it.

We've been looking after my sister's 2 cats the last few days as well. She's gone out of town to spend time with a guy she met on a dating site, and hopes to move in with this summer. So there will go my walking partner. Gerry isn't much for walking like I do, so guess will just have to get the ipod out and go it alone once she leaves.
