I spent a greater part of yesterday blogging, entering contests and surfing the Net yesterday as Gerry was still in his conference here. We did have the chance to meet up for a yummy lunch though, as we sat outside near the hotel's restaurant.
We had free time after 3 pm and had reservations at The Hard Rock Cafe in Phoenix for 4:30. Saw a stretch limo on the same street as we were arriving:
Not always easy to plan these things- as we aren't sure how long it will take to get from point A to B, but we made it!
We were very warmly welcomed by the staff and manager, and got a history lesson on the Hard Rock as well as a tour of the inside of the restaurant and had the opportunity to try something off the new menu- ( I chose the Tupelo Chicken Tenders and Gerry chose one of their steak dinners.)
We would recommend a visit to the restaurant if you are a music buff and love great home style cooked food.Hard Rock has many locations worldwide so do check it out on their site.
Loved this place. Was nice to see so many cactus and wild flowers all in one area, without having to drive all over searching them out. Was a very busy place- alot of people enjoying the flora of the desert .
Till next time.....
