Imperial Tart Squares

Recipe worth sharing- Tested and Approved

I personally substitute chocolate chips for the raisins in this recipe. You can use anywhere between 1/2 cup- 3/4 cup of chipits.

Photo is of my finished squares: ( there was more but of course we ate them! yummy!)

A Great Option For Your Home Reno Project

Being in the reno mindset with our kitchen lately, I've been doing some research online about alternative materials you can use in your home that are sustainable or green.  I came across a company in San Diego, CA called Cali Bamboo that specializes in green building materials made of bamboo.

Their bamboo flooring in particular really stood out to me. Not only does it come in a variety of colors to match any home, but it’s also reportedly the toughest floors available. According to their website bamboo is the fastest growing plant on Earth and can grow over 4 feet in 24 hours. You can also harvest bamboo every 3-7 years whereas a forest takes up to 50 years to regenerate.

The best part about Cali Bamboo? They’re celebrating their 10 year Anniversary this August and are having a HUGE sale! With the codes below, you can get AT LEAST 10% off everything on their site! Trust me, after going through our kitchen reno, 10% off flooring and other building materials can really add up.
