April 17th is National Pet Adoption Weekend (Canada)

Help Pet Valu raise $1.5 million for pets in need by spreading the news about National Adoption Weekend - April 17th through 19th.  Pet Valu stores are hoping to find forever homes for 2,000 pets this month.  

Rescue spokes pets who are up for adoption are available for interviews and appearances – and you’re also welcome to visit stores for photos and video. 

 Another way you can help is by RT @PetValu using the #PostaPaw.  Every time you do, Pet Valu will donate 1 cup of food to animal rescue charities.  The chain is hoping to donate 15,000 cups of food this April.
