3 Things to Consider When Planning the Perfect Bachelorette Party

Friday, November 1, 2019

Planning the perfect bachelorette party for the bride is a big deal. After all, you want to be able to celebrate her big day in the best way, yet be able to accommodate all the guests who are attending. Traditionally, the maid of honour is left in charge of making the plans whilst the bride plans her big day. However, it isn't uncommon for bridesmaids or friends/family members to take over this duty.

So it goes without saying that no one wants to let the bride down and plan a disastrous time! So let's have a look at how you can plan the perfect bachelorette party to make sure the bride has the best time before the wedding.

Discuss the Details Before Booking.

There is rising popularity with wedding parties being a whole weekend affair, for brides and grooms. This means that you will want to discuss with everyone in the wedding party what their budget is and if the will be able to accommodate any plans that last longer than one evening.
You will need to remember everyone's circumstances are different and not everyone will be able to drop everything for a long weekend bachelorette party but may find a day or evening celebration easier to slot into their schedule.
Once everyone is in agreement with dates/times/duration of the party, as much as you can be, then you can start making plans and choosing venues or destinations.

The What and Where.

Big celebrations such as bachelorette parties take a lot of planning and coordination if you are going for a full-on blow-out lasting a weekend or even a party to get everyone together. The bigger the group, the more plans will need to be put into place too. If you are planning a girls weekend in Las Vegas, for example, you want to make sure you have booked everything in advance so as not to be disappointed when you arrive. So make sure to book passes to Encore if this is something you are planning to do or any other shows and venues you want to attend to keep everything running smoothly.

Set A Budget.

As much as you want to make the occasion extra special, not everyone has unlimited disposable income available to them. So before you book anything make sure you are in agreement over how much you are willing to spend. Make sure you are clear when booking to confirm what is included in any packages you are looking at. If you are having a party in one location, are all drinks included or will people need to bring extra funds with them? The same for booking a break away. Does the activity you have planned cover all expenses or will people need to find money to spend on top of what they have already paid.

Pinning down details such as this means people know up front how much they will need to pay out for the party and will reduce people having to drop out last minute due to lack of funds or unexpected extras.
