Review and Giveaway! Red Light,Green Light,Eat Right by Joanna Dolgoff, M.D

Wednesday, March 17, 2010

I received for review, the book Red Light, Green Light, Eat Right, by Joanna Dolgoff, MD.
I love this book! With all the food intolorances that Gerry and I have, it is a great book on learning to eat healthier.
The book is geared more towards parents getting their children to eat the right foods and serving the right foods to them, but also gives healthier living suggestions- such as moving their bodies more, and in fun ways.
Parents get sample menus, menu plans, and great recipes. Love the books quality and the nice photos with an easy to read/understand format.
I will always keep this book as a handy reference guide to choosing the right foods to eat.
If you want to start eating healthier and getting the rest of the family to as well, then you really should take a look at this book.
I give it the thumbs up!

  2. I would like to win this book because I could use a push in the right direction to eat better balanced meals myself and to provide them to my family. I like that you said "Parents get sample menus, menu plans, and great recipes." I could use a menu plan! I love to cook but I have been in a rut lately and doing the same old recipes week after week. Something new for the whole family would be great to have!

I will check out the webites tomorrow (too sleepy now).

  6. Hi Monique,
I would love to have this book for my family because who can't always use some extra tips to help their family become more healthy. I also have a friend with soy allergies, and I would like to learn more about this and how I can make meals/treats for her without causing her to have reactions.
I also subscribed in email, followed you on Twitter, and followed you on Google Friend, so that is 3 additional entries. Woohoo! Hope I win. :)
