Review: Eagle Creek Luggage

We are off to Arizona so very soon, and with all the excitement comes the dreaded packing. Since our secondary piece was destroyed by the airlines last trip out, we were in need of a new secondary piece and thus came the perfect opportunity to review.

Eagle Creek Adventure 4 wheeled Upright 28 is built tough and great for a traveler. It is very light weight which is a must since airlines make you pay dearly for any extra pounds. And lighter luggage means you can put more things in it, and this bag is so deep and roomy!

I always tell Gerry he packs more than I do!

The zippers on this luggage are two way and lockable which is a huge convenience. It has multiple pockets for storage and organization which is truly wonderful as well as interior compression wings. Anyone who is used to the old school bags that you have to drag around, or even luggage with two wheels, will most definitely appreciate the four wheel system. You can go back and forth, side to side with no effort at all. Definitely a life saver when you are trying to navigate the challenging hallways of airports or any public transportation terminals.

The company offers a full range of travel accessories and bags which can stand the test of travel, wherever your journeys may take you. We can't wait to use our Eagle Creek luggage! And remember when YOU shop with Eagle Creek, They Donate. 5% of Purchases $150+ Will Help Preserve Alaska

While your also looking at the bags on their site, be sure to check out the packing check lists. These come in handy for all kinds of trips and destinations.

March is National Peanut Month

What would the world be without peanuts? There would be no peanut butter and jam sandwiches, and no crunchy additions to chocolate bars.
Peanuts are also a great and healthy snack all on their own, so since March is National Peanut Month, try to sneak a few extras into your diet.

Please visit our friends as well during National Peanut Month:

·       Organic Dark Chocolate Peanuts – Just in time for Peanut Month, dark chocolate has become all the rage in the health industry. Noted for increasing blood flow to the brain and helping to control blood sugar, dark chocolate has been recommended by the The Journal of the American Medical Association to protect against iron deficiency and help prevent heart disease. Decadent and satisfying, SunRidge Farms' peanut clusters are made with dark cacao grown and harvested only on sustainable organic farms. Enjoying Organic Dark Chocolate Peanuts this March is a great way to celebrate both Peanut Month and your health with guilt free snacking.

·       All Natural Milk Chocolate Peanuts – If you're one of the many people who enjoys milk chocolate then this crunchy and satisfying snack is right up your alley. These non-GMO, preservative-free treats bring you the beloved combination of crunchy peanuts and succulent chocolate, perfect for lunches, parties, and anytime in-between. Plus, peanuts feature an array of health benefits and are full of the healthy monounsaturated fats. They are the perfect companion for Peanut Month.

·       All Natural Yogurt Peanut Clusters – Rich and sweet, these all natural peanuts are covered in luscious yogurt, which contains no artificial colors or flavors. If you need an energy boost this March, then this is a great snack for you. Peanuts are packed with protein, containing 38 grams per cup, making them the perfect pick-me-up for any afternoon lull. Yogurt is loaded with vitamins, including calcium and B12. Combining these two power foods can help motivate you to finish your day strong.

The best way to enjoy National Peanut Month is to celebrate all the healthy benefits that peanuts offer! A new study by the Peanut Institute reports that eating peanuts daily can decrease both blood pressure and cholesterol.

And Kind's dark chocolate peanut butter +protein bar is  so delicious, people mistake it for a candy bar.  Best part is that unlike candy bars, all of the ingredients in this guy are all natural and to boost, each bar has 7g of protein!

Everybody does food drives.  Although impactful, they can become monotonous. DoSomething.org has the Peanut Butter and Jam Slam that's just as impactful, but shakes things up a bit. Enter the country’s largest peanut butter drive. Peanut butter has a long shelf life, is high in protein, and is often requested at food banks. Beginning March 11, young people ages 13-25 can sign up to run a peanut butter drive in their community. To sign up, visit DoSomething.org/pbj

Peanut Butter Pit Bull from Rescue Chocolate-

These bars put together one of humankind's most popular flavor combinations: crispy peanut butter with dark chocolate. The bar is vegan, kosher, handcrafted, organic, and fairly traded. But if all that were not enough, the profits from all Rescue Chocolate products are donated to animal rescue organizations. A rescued pit bull, named Mocha, is the cover girl and inspiration for the company. The blurb on the chocolate bar urges consumers to look beyond negative breed stereotypes and to judge all dogs as individuals. With their tenacious work drive and high intelligence, most pit bulls are only interested in pleasing their owners and giving lots of love.
