I’ve loved the Flipp app ever since it launched so I was pretty excited to have the opportunity to do the #FlippCouponChallenge on behalf of Stretching The One Income Dollar.
After checking flyers on the Flipp app, I found some coupons and matchups I could use based on stores I would normally shop at. Once I had my list written and coupons printed, I was ready to go!
My first stop was CO-OP. Although I don’t shop here on a regular basis, I find they always have great sales/deals and it’s even better if you’re a CO-OP member. Using Flipp, I found 2 coupons to use while here and both were also matchups: Classico pasta sauce & Hunts super snack packs. At checkout, I saved a total of $10.26 and $1.75 of that was thanks to the Flipp app!
My second stop was Shopper’s Drug Mart. This was probably my best store in terms of savings. It’s also a great place to shop if you have an Optimum card, you can earn points on almost everything! Using Flipp, I found 6 coupons to use while here and 4 of them were also matchups: Royale paper towel, Dove body wash, Lysol products & St. Ives products. At checkout, I saved a total of $27.80 and $9.50 of that was thanks to the Flipp app!
My last stop was Sobey’s. This is where I shop most often for groceries since it’s so close to where we live. They also take Air Miles, which is nice to collect for money off your groceries! Using Flipp, I found 2 coupons to use while here and 1 of them was also a matchup: Astro yogurt. At checkout, I saved a total of $5.48 and $1.50 of that was thanks to the Flipp app!
These are the coupons I ended up using from Flipp:

Unfortunately, I came back home with 2 unused coupons due to products being out of stock. However, I still saved $43.54 and $12.75 of that was all thanks to the Flipp app!!
Overall, I really enjoyed participating in the #FlippCouponChallenge. Although it takes some planning and patience, it definitely made grocery shopping a little bit more fun. The new revamped Flipp app is great – with flyers, matchups and coupons all at your fingertips, you’ll “flipp” over how much you can save!!
