I had a nice surprise in today's mail- a $20 off supper coupon for a local restaurant. I have been a member of their birthday club for quite a few years. Most times the card comes in early, before my birthday, and we use it for supper out.This year, it never showed and I just figured they discontinued the club.
It was nice to see it in today's mail, as I was thinking on what will I make for supper today.
I'm not a big eater, and picky besides,so Gerry usually uses it for the larger meal, and I order a cheap appetizer.
I encourage anyone who isn't signed up for restaurant birthday clubs to sign up.Google will list a ton for you.
We don't have many restaurants here in our small town so we can't take advantage of this too well.
I have signed up in the past for birthday clubs for out of town restaurants, thinking I can use the coupon next time I go to the city, but most are dated for the month of my birthday usually, and have to be used by the end of the month, so this doesn't always work.
But tonight, I'm enjoying not cooking!
