Jasper Sky Tram- Alberta

There is so much to see and do in the Canadian Rockies that it is hard to see it all. However, you can most certainly try to.

On our upcoming vacation we will be riding the Jasper Sky Tram in Jasper Alberta. You  board one of the fully enclosed trams at a lower level and take a seven minute flight up the mountain, narrated by an attendant that will point out all the sights that you may miss on your own. The ride up is very nearly an elevation change of 1000 ft, and the views are spectacular. At the top you sit above the clouds and can see six mountain ranges, glacially fed lakes, rivers and the town of Jasper which is a beauty in its own right. 

When riding the Sky Tram you do not have to leave anyone behind, well behaved dogs are always welcome to ride the tram, however we do not think that this is something that Jakey would enjoy, and would rather not have something happen on our way up where the little guy gets nervous.

We cannot wait to see the magnificence of western Canada from this great vantage point, it will most certainly be a trip that we will remember for a lifetime, besides if you are "above the clouds" the weather is always good...right?
