Stopped this afternoon over at the Hollywood Wax Museum, Branson.
Interesting place for the whole family. My favorite part in the museum was the Horror movie section.. gosh Michael Myers, Hannibal Lecter and Jason were among the scarier figures in the "basement" of the museum... OMG- they freaked me out!! I kept thinking they were going to reach out and grab me and couldn't get out of there fast enough! LOL.
Did a bit of souvenir shopping next door to the Clay Cooper Theatre, then...
A 2pm show we enjoyed was Joseph Hall's Elvis Tribute at the Clay Cooper Theatre.
This is a 2 hour show of great Elvis entertainment, with live band and dancers. A must see for any Elvis fan! Most enjoyable how Joseph Hall shared with the audience- Elvis' music through the 50's, 60's and 70's. An added touch was him intermingling with the women in the front row- giving them scarves of his, and later throwing out teddy bears after his song: Teddy Bear.
After that visit we headed over to the Go Karts at The Track Family Fun Park.
We had fun doing some laps on the Heavy Metal High Rise, and hope to go back again to ride again on one of their other tracks.
Supper at Olive Gardens and back to the condo to catch up on emails and blogging! Seen people saying grace during their meals here- a few tables actually. That was something new for us, as we had never seen people doing this at a restaurant, but nice to see.
Another new day awaits us tomorrow.
