Florida's Boggy Creek Airboat Rides

When thinking about Florida, several things come to mind; oranges, beaches, amusements parks and...gators. Florida is famous for its gator population which can easily be seen throughout the state and it's easy to get Florida flights  here.


However, the Florida Everglades in South Florida are known for their abundant wildlife and gator population. 


While in Florida we will  be doing something on my bucket list, and that is riding with Boggy Creek Airboat Rides, which offer a variety of tours including a scenic nature tour, night time tour and a swamp excursion.Neither one of us has ever rode on an airboat and are very much looking forward to this.


The tours are very reasonably priced and offer the guests a chance to view Florida alligators, turtles and birds in their natural environment. 


Each ride is filled with excitement and fascination, as you whisk across the water at 45 miles per hour, between the walls of tall grass. The swamp safari tours take you where regular tours don’t go and provide ample opportunity to stop, view, and ask questions.


This is probably as close and personal that you may want to get with a gator.
