Wednesday, May 2, 2012

Along with fresh cut grass the smell of BBQ is a sure sign of summer.

Many people are very passionate about their BBQ and will eagerly await with anticipation their first chance to use it. Summer grilling is a great reason to get together with family and friends in a casual atmosphere, enjoy the weather and each other, and of course the food.

Whether you are attending a summer BBQ party or just grilling for your family there are several BBQ ideas which can keep your expenses down. BBQ meal ideas such as potato salad and corn on the cob are tried and tested vegetable meals that are both tasty and very economical. You can save money on meats when buying them when they go on sale and stocking up. Homemade hamburgers are a great way to save money and allow the addition of various ingredients. One of the more unusual approaches, but definitely a must try, is a homemade BBQ pizza, which tastes better than any pizza parlor. Any BBQ meal is best when accompanied with refreshing drinks and great desserts.

So as the BBQ season gears into full swing enjoy the weather, the food and the company of others, and try this easy potato salad recipe I can make with my eyes closed.
