It is now the middle of July which means our air conditioners are running at full force. The last thing we want to do on a lazy, hot summer day is make the house hotter or have the AC work harder by using the stove or oven. Luckily, summer provides the perfect opportunity for cooking outdoors. The grill offers a great way to cook many of the foods we love, and leaves them tasting great. Another option is to forgo cooking all together and eat everything fresh. Summer provides us with some of the best fruits and vegetables that taste great raw. Eating fresh, chilled vegetables and fruits, such as tomatoes and watermelon, will not only save your house from the heat, but will also make yourself cool.
