February is Heart Month, and we don’t just mean Valentine’s day.
Today one in three deaths is due to heart disease and stroke. Heart disease is also the number one killer of women-taking more lives than all forms of cancer combined. This February raise awareness and support for this devastating disease. The change can begin at home with better lifestyle and food choices.
Many companies such as Cheerios are giving showing their support through tips on lowering your cholesterol and heart health advice to first finger foods and fabulous recipes on their Cheerios.ca site.
So this February, be good to your heart.
