Vegas Trip -Day 6

Thursday, February 23, 2012

We had a great day today! Still haven't made it over to the Las Vegas sign for photo op and last day in Vegas tommorow before heading home on Saturday.

The highlight of this evening was seeing Recycled Percussion live at the Tropicana. We had first learned of the group when they appeared on America's Got Talent. Was great to see them in person as the guys give a ton of energy.Energy that pulls the crowd into their performance. Audience members are given a drum stick when they arrive and can choose a kitchen pot, pan, etc to bang away on and have fun with them during their act. They combine great drumming and guitar playing with upbeat music and a comedy of their own. After the show they meet with their fans and take time to mingle, sign autographs and do photos. This is a top of the line act that we would highly recommend as a must see on your trip to Vegas. Thanks guys for being so nice to us!

In the afternoon we took a private gondola ride at the Venetian. The Venetian offers both indoor and outdoor gondola rides with a singing gondolier that sweeps you down the Grand Canal. Our gondolier Pietro, originally from Italy was quite pleasant as he hosted us on our ride. A highly recommend for your trip.

Looking for great places to eat while in Vegas? We can highly recommend two great burger joints: I Love Burgers at Town Square and Johnny Rockets at the Venetian. Both of these places offer great fast food if you love the traditional All American food.

Last day in Vegas tommorow.  We'll certainly miss the weather! But have to get away from these slot machines- they can be addicting!
