Use It Up: A Quick Chef Salad


If you have a little of this and a little of that for leftovers kicking around, you may be able to to create a quick and easy lunch : a Chef Salad

Some of the ingrediants you can use to create your simple salad:

- greens: leftover lettuce of any type, or  reduced at the produce dept., tossed salad
-turkey or chicken pieces ,( perhaps still left in the freezer from your Christmas holidays)
-ham pieces,( also leftovers from Christmas or deli ends)
-roast beef
-boiled eggs- sliced
-shredded cheese,( I always have a baggie in my freezer shredded)
-mushrooms-sliced
-tomatoes-sliced
-cucumbers
-shredded carrots

and off course your favorite dressing!

Now that is the kind of salad I like.
A mixture of everything and not just lettuce.
Boiled egg and roast beef yummy.
