Raincoast Trading kicked off a contest today offering seafood lovers in Canada and the United States a chance to win a year’s worth of sustainable, all natural canned tuna and salmon for two from now until Earth Day April 22, 2011. The twelve-month seafood supply has a retail value of more than $1,000 and is based on two servings of tuna and salmon a week per person, which is the recommended consumption by dieticians and nutritionists.

Raincoast Trading’s Win A Year’s Worth of Sustainable Canned Seafood Contest grand prize consists of 208 tins of tuna and salmon (104 cans of Albacore Tuna and 104 cans of Pink Salmon, Skinless Boneless). This quantity is the equivalent of four cans of seafood a week for a year for two people. The serving size of each can is 150 grams.
