I have an electric hand mixer, but find when I'm mixing wet ingrediants, it sprays, and I don't have a splatter guard.
If you have the same problem, put the bowl in the sink and mix in there . The splatter will end up around the inside of the sink and you can just rinse it down after you are done mixing.
