I have noticed lately that since we are getting closer to Christmas, some stores,(Walmart), as well as Sears(by phone shopping), have been asking if I want to sign up for their credit cards. No thank you,I tell them, your interest rates are too high.
Please be careful this time of year when being enticed by having a credit card offered to you for holiday shopping.I'm not saying you shouldn't have a credit card, but shop around. We have one very simple card,through our bank, with no bells and whistles, and the lowest interest rate we can get.
