Wishing Everyone A Merry Christmas!

Friday, December 24, 2010

At this time, I'd like to wish all my readers a safe and happy holiday season.I hope you all have a fun Christmas and enjoy the company of your family and friends.

Think of all that leftover turkey you'll have! (smile)Turkey soup, turkey pie, turkey sandwiches, and on and on.And yes, you can freeze your cooked turkey.

Remember to save as much of your throw aways such as boxes, card envelopes and extras, for the recycling depot. It makes a much better home there than at the garbage dump.

My 88 year old grandma is in the hospital still and may be over Christmas, so I do ask for your prayers for her for a speedy recovery.Certainly not the place you want to be in for Christmas.

Looks like we will be having Boxing Day supper here with the girls. One just broke up with her boyfriend so we will be minus one guy.As for our family, unfortunately, this one doesn't talk with that one or that one like this one, so we're keeping it small, with just Gerry, myself, Ria, Erika and Ria's new boyfriend.
Does this happen in your family as well- family not getting along?
Wish we could all be like the Waltons and the Brady Bunch but it just ain't so.

However, this is Stretching the One Income Dollar's second Christmas, and we hope for many more to come! Merry Christmas Everyone!
