Tommorow is -December 21- First Day of Winter

Monday, December 20, 2010

Although you'd think we've already had our first day of winter ages ago for some of us, tommorow will officially be the first day of Winter.

Winter solstice is the shortest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and marks the official beginning of winter.

The days will now be getting longer. In six months, Earth will be on the other side of the sun and residents of the Northern Hemisphere will enjoy the longest day of the year.
