Do you ever feel that mealtimes just aren't like they used to be when you were growing up? Do you find the kids are at the table with their hand helds and not too much interested in "family time?" Do you miss good conversation and discussions?Want to share more healthy conversation with your family? Well, have I got a portable game for you. It's Around The Table Games by creator Beth Daniels.
We recieved the Family Talk game and started using it at lunchtime today. Of course, only Gerry and I are home right now, but we had fun with it.I really find these are great games for people of all ages.You get to learn things about your friends or family you may not have known before.
The cards are a good quality with their waxy surface- good for sticky or greasy hands at the dinner table.
Erika will be here this weekend , for 3 weeks, for Christmas Break, and I've left it on the kitchen table for all of us to use at mealtime.
They currently carry Family Talk,Grandparent Talk, Camp Talk and Teen Talk. I told Beth I'd like to see a Couples Talk as well added to the mix, for those of us that don't have kids yet or have had ours leave the nest.

I would love the grandparent talk, I wish it had been around when I was a child, what a great way to learn more about a loved one. I often regret not learning more about their past. This would be great to play with my grand children so they can learn more about my generation and life.
