We continue slowly with fixing up our living room and updating us from the 80's into the current times. From the 80's tends to come alot of brass accents, one of which was our coffee and end tables,that were Gerry's when I moved in almost 5 years ago.
I wanted to change them out but without the expense of getting new tables, as they were still in good shape, so as you will see in the photos, we decided to spray paint them black.

We've done one and may or may not wait till Spring to do the others. The spray paint is quite strong, and we had to be very careful with overspray.Even with the first coat, and a drop cloth, there was still overspray and lucky for us SOS pads fixed that up. With the second coat, we picked up a stove box from the hardware store and used that. Less overspray but still some.
As you can see, the end result was nice and for this one table we did so far, Gerry didn't even use a full can of paint.
