I keep a good control over them- we have 4 rooms that have the smaller waste baskets in them that allow me to use them.My brother also takes my extras for his garbage and my parents have 5-6 cats, which they use the bags to tie up their business in.
If you are accumulating too many bags here are a few ways to recycle them:
-check to see if your local recycling centre or curbside recycling will take them.
-there are alot of stores now that have containers for you to return your bags to and drop them off, or that will give you a few pennies back for the bags you bring back and have your groceries re-packed in them.
-if your a patient person, you can recycle the bags into bags, rugs,wallets, etc..http://www.instructables.com/
- use it as a shoe bag to carry your second set of shoes when travelling, or a wet bathing suit when going to the lake/beach/pool
-wrap them around frozen foods in your freezer to prevent freezer burn
-use as packing material when shipping your Ebay items
